Mornin' LL'ers,

Today begins Boomer's 1st full day on his fat zero dose. I'm pretty impressed that he only needed two weeks on .25 before going to fat zero. Mr. P and Mr. L must be feeling bettah, right? Let's see if he can hold it. He was being a little fussy with his fudz this morning, but no puke, so that's good. He's getting less picky about eating the lower carb pate foods, so that's good.

OMG! The fat zero dose is very tricky! I hope I'm doing it right. Even after looking at pictures it still is hard. :!:

I've never had to give a fat zero, but it looks confusing! It's 1 drop, right?

Boomer is looking good! Awesome that he's less picky, that makes your life easier.

Hi Sara (I almost typed Magnolia  ) -

It's easy to mix up the cat and human names! Yup, drawing up a fat zero is really weird...harder than the .25. I kept squirting it out to make sure that in fact one drop did come out. And if you let go the drop gets sucked back in the syringe so you have to give the shot without letting your finger off the stopper. (is that what it's called???) I seems almost like an OTJ trial because he's really getting close to nothing. God, I hope it works out!

I love your avitar! Great idea.

The weirdest thing...the last 3 tests he's been 86. I only have one strip left so I can't test to check.

I was a half hour late tonight for his shot - because I worked until 8pm! :o I got some good brownie points with my boss. He was in NYC freaking out and I totally helped him. I hope the later shot doesn't mess Boomer up.

FYI about my Mom and Francis. The same story- his numbers are a little too high to be OTJ, but if she gives him insulin he goes to 50. She's not given me his numbers lately but I'm making her do the OTJ countdown and she IS testng him, I just haven't gotten his numbers in a couple days, but I will soon.

hey Traci

nice day for Boomer!!

1986 was a fine year!

has mom played around with the food and/or carbs around much? she not feeding no gravee type foods right?

Hope ur doing well

Hey Ronnie-

'86 was a good year - loved the music. I graduated from high school in 1986! Damn, I'm old.

Mom's giving Francis strictly lcw (no gravy) with only freeze-dried chicken treats. She's still testing him and watching. Who knows. If he starts getting symptoms again she'll have to go back to insulin.
