3/01 Morris AMPS 263; PMPS 304

Morris ate an entire can of Friskies over night!!! This morning, after I gave him his food & was working on getting his insulin ready, I had to chuckle! I am still using his divided dish from his timed feeder & I spread out the food into 4 compartments usually. This morning, he was taste testing each of the 4 sections to decide which one he was going to eat from!!

Please remind me.....what are all 5 P's? I know pooping, peeing, preaning/grooming, but I can't remember the last 2! So far, he has these 3 P's working properly!

I gave him his last dose of bupe this morning. I will continue with the fluids for another couple of days & will give him at least 1 more dose of mirtz (due tomorrow). If he continues eating this well, I will set up his timed feeder again in the next few days & see if I can get him back onto his feeding schedule.

Hi Gwen,

I'm glad that you have Morris's meds figured out.
Any chance you can get bed time tests again? It would be easier to see whether the highs are rebounds or not enough insulin if you had a few more spot checks.... if you can only.

Today, he ate about 3/4 can of Friskies. I gave him about 100 mls of SQ fluids today as well.

Then, I think we have all 5 P's covered! He has never been a huge purring kind of guy....but I did hear him purr the other day!

Yes, that is my goal for this week.....to get back onto schedule! I want to start doing more testing now that he's feeling better (planning on doing a full curve either Sunday or Monday next week) & I want to get him back onto his feeding schedule again as well.
