2026 Halloween Memories and Remembrances

Every year at Halloween, there is a long tradition on the Lantus board of remembering those kitties, and sometimes caregivers, who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge during the past year. Despite my time on the Board, I don't know when or how that tradition started. The thought behind the tradition is that the veil between the the two sides of the Bridge are at their thinnest on Halloween. It is the time when we honor those who are no longer with us but who are fondly remembered.

Thank you. I am here with Sibyl remembering her sisters, who both died over the summer.

A friend visited and we carved pumpkins. I did a pattern called Meowna Lisa in honor of my past cats.

This is the design, but not the pumpkin I carved, as I have no way of taking pictures and getting them to the computer right now.
