Every year at Halloween, there was a tradition on the Lantus board of remembering those kitties, and sometimes caregivers, who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge during the past year. Unfortunately, we got too busy this year at that time, so this is a belated, but not forgotten post of those since our last remembrance post.
Despite my time on the Board, I don't know when or how that tradition started, but it's one we should keep up. The thought behind the tradition is that the veil between the the two sides of the Bridge are at their thinnest at the Full Moon, the next one is January 3rd. It is the time when we honour those who are no longer with us but who are fondly remembered.
