Hi Everyone,
I never got back to the board last night because we were at our friends' house for dinner. Our beautiful snow turned into freezing drizzle in the afternoon yesterday. Not good! And surprising because it was so cold (6 degrees was the high yesterday; this morning it is still freezing drizzle and the temperature is 8 degrees. There must be an upper-level temperature inversion that is causing our freezing drizzle, whereas to our south there is a big snowstorm going on.)
Anyway, Rusty was happy to see us when we got home last night and we spent some time with him on the couch so that he would finish his dinner! This morning we had a good schmooze and Rusty has eaten a good portion of his breakfast so far. Lots and lots of birds are at the feeders; haven't seen the deer.
We were going to go snowshoeing today, but the weather is so awful that we will stay home. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny. My hamstring injury felt the best today that it has since I injured it, several months ago. Interesting, because we heard on NPR the other day that tart-cherry juice does wonders for muscle injuries, arthritis, and just about everything else that is bothering you. So we got some and tried it yesterday. Is it coincidence that my leg feels better? Is it the placebo effect?? Whatever, I'll take it. Here's a link to a summary I found on the web: http://www.just-health.net/Tart-Cherry-Juice-Benefits.html
Wishing all a fine day and continuing to send healing vines to all in need.

p.s. my parents were married on this day in 1922. They chose a winter wedding so that they could go skiing on their honeymoon (skiing in those days in the northeast meant skiing on golf courses; no tows).

on your weather! Freezing rain on top of that snow and with those temps? That has to be nasty to try and get around in. Be safe, be careful. We have been watching the snowstorms in the areas south of you, OMG on Mass. and Boston! I feel for those folks, and anyone else there that has that much snow. it gets to the point of where do you pout what you plow? We have had a break in the rains, for now. Rivers are so high though, and now we worry about land and/or mudslides.
The LagoonMeister is doing a great job.
