Looks very nice....he is on the rise so it's safe to shoot, I assume he got his breffus and it's off to tbp for you. Oh how we would love to see a midday check, nice to know when he starts going down or back up. Hope he has a nice low PMPS today.

It looks like Buddy was saving up all his bounces and doing them all at once. I wonder if he'll make it back to blue again tonight?
 
Just tested and I can't believe he is 2 points higher than PMPS, thats been 3.5 hours ago.
Im afraid to give him his bedtime snack.
Although I bought a toy with catnip in it and all 8 of them are going crazy!!

I'm thinking this is a little antibody revolt still .. lasting too long to be rebound, in my humble opinion.

I think it's perfectly safe to give a TOR and see if you can knock them down into less horrific zone. Can you stay up for another 2 hours to get a final test to ensure R is doing what it's supposed to be doing?

Regardless of what you do, just keep shooting and testing and I think we'll know in 18-24 hours or so what to do with the basal insulin (Lantus) dose.

I'm not sure why you value sleeping so much or whatever but ... :lol: Just kidding, if you hadn't been going to miss a couple hours of testing tonight, I would have recommended you do it at PMPS, but you have to be able to have a life too. Whatever. :lol:

Ok like I said, we'll know by tomorrow night what to do with that basal dose, it's looking like we're fixin' to go back up again. A smidge. I could be wrong though. Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow -- and if he's still messin' around in the pink/red/black range, plan on TOR tomorrow if you've got a few hours you can devote to monitoring. We don't want him getting stuck out there in the stratosphere. ;-)
 
OK that sounds good. I will be home tomorrow at PM all night, and like you said if he is high again then I will give him some R. My sloar pen is about 3/4 gone, do you think it could be it?? When I open a new one the insulin,seems like its more liquidy, and seems to get thicker as you use it??

Uh. Shooooooot... how long has it been open. ::checks the SS:: new cart less than 2 weeks ago.. should be fine except.. I do not think Lantus should get thick Jan..

You are not re-using syringes are you? Re-injecting into the cartridge from the syringe? Rolling, shaking, leaving it out of the fridge? Checked your fridge temperature lately? If your fridge is off, your Lantus could be getting too cold.
 
No to questions on Lantus. I don't think the fridge is to cold, maybe thick was the wrong word, it just seems to flow in syringe quicker at the opening of pen, or it could be the crazy bean imagining things!! :roll: :roll:

OOOOOOOO that's the way the carts are pressurized I think. It's been a long time since I used cartridges.. I think the pressure might get greater towards the end of the cart though, if I remember correctly.
