Hey everyone,
As soon as things start looking up, something else goes wrong. Sigh. Libre 3 sensor loss since about +1.75. Haven't been able to get it back so far. It's only on day 8, but this tech seemed to have trouble putting it on so maybe she messed it up badly enough that it failed early.
(For reference, I have the Libre 3 because getting manual readings out of him is basically impossible. Only managed to make it work once and it was a 2 man job with a whole bunch of jabs and tears.)
So I can't get any manual readings unless my partner's around, which is basically just the PMPS and maybe +1. I was just about to set up the appointment to get the next one placed (placing them ourselves is something Xander would never let us do either, but the vet only charges $17 to do it for us. It does require traveling half an hour to another city for it though.)
Anyway... wish us luck at either getting the stupid thing working again or being able to manually test occasionally until we can get a new one placed... Assuming the next one doesn't just fail early too. Unfortunately it sounds like the early failures come in batches and naturally this time we got a pack of 6, all the same batch.
So much for getting to closely track how he reacts to food, etc.
