Yesterday's Condo

Good Morning.
Other than starting the day in red (I was going to "cheat" and right 399 so I could see pink) the start of the day is pretty uneventful.
Max gave me a bit of a scare this morning when his "Good behavior" collar ended up getting stuck in his mouth, like a horse bit. Of course he could not meow but he was sitting on his chair with his mouth open. I looked at him and thought his tongue was hanging out. It was the end of the collar. Well, that came off for now.
I didn't get to wake up with purring kitties this morning but did end up with the 3 in bed last night.
We caught some blue at +5 last night so that was nice. Not hitting too much greens though.
Need to do a Ketone test tonight.

Have a great day. Hoping for some nice lower numbers.

The collar freaked me out. I know it was about 5-10 minutes cuz it was just after he ate.
Now he is happy on his towel by the outside door. Mabe we will have visitors today. Lots of rodent prints in the snow.

I hope Max settles down soon and gives you some greens. That is funny about his collar, but yes, good thing you were home.

Ronnie, you can come and test Buzz if you need to get your fix. I'm about over testing. She's really good and patient and jumps up to the testing spot every time. She loves new people. (I'm going for the hard sell here!)

That was pretty scary with the collar....I think Slashy did the same thing with a flea collar and his Dad got ripped to shreds while trying to get it off....that's how Slashy got his name and how his Dad got cat scratch fever...

Hoping that Max will get serious about things now that he has tasted some pretty numbers....(we impatient Beans are always expecting results much faster than these little kitties give them to us....) :YMSIGH: Oh well....we can always do the cheerleading and maybe one of these days.... :razz:

Pat, the "401" is the name of the highway between Montreal and Toronto so when Max's number was 401,Ronnie decided to make a joke, lol.

I flipped out when I saw the collar. I did not want to make it too tigh and my cats are
only indoors so collar experince is a bit lacking!

SO glad you were there to assist with the collar removal that had gone awry! Logan's little shirt keeps unraveling and a couple of times, he's gotten the little strings caught in his teeth when he tries to groom himself. He gets pretty agitated but lets me get them unhooked! He ran from DH2B the other day when it happened - made his dad feel bad! He's such a mama's boy....both of them - DH2B and Logan! :lol:

Hope Max clears RBC very soon!

Ooh, Randi. That collar thing is scary. Neither of mine wear any collars anymore. For one thing, Basil is sos ensitive to any kind of collar that he lost the hair under his neck permanently. :sad: And he was forever getting it stuck somewhere trying to get it off.

The collars I like best are Beastie Bands. Soft, velcro, nice. And cheap!

I hope your numbers are beautiful today!

Don't think we will hit blue today although he did drop from red down to pink.
I had a report from home that he was doing a bit of gardening (chewing on my houseplants)
and then threw up a bit.
He hasn't tried to eat the plants in a while.
I wonder if that's a good thing or bad thing.

I don't see the pink. It looks like you skipped pink and went to YELLOW? Unless you typed it wrong??

Sometimes my kitties will chew on a leaf so they can barf up a hairball. Or who knows why? They may just like to make me crazy... as long as the plants are not toxic, I just watch-out for the resulting hairball barfy.

He skipped over pink and went straight to yellow.

Well that yeller is much nicer than that red he was sportin this morning. I hope he starts to level out for you a little and settles into some nice numbahs. Silly boy, you know if you gotz an upset belly you just have to ask momma bean for some nip. No need to eat those nasty house plants :roll:
