Is there a syringe magnifier that fits a 3/10 cc syringe? I have only seen ones that fir 1/2 and 1 cc syringes. Also I need one that doesn't connect to vial as I am drawing from a pen. Thanks in advance for your answers

Not sure about the magnifier...I ended up getting really strong reading glasses at the dollar store.
They work great until I look away suddenly from the syringe...lol...nauseating feeling.
but they work for me....

Looks good, today's bounce was less than yesterday's.

In answer to your questions yesterday about going OTJ, has anyone given you this link yet? http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key= ... _dHQ&gid=1 This sheet contains the spreadsheets and profiles of all of our OTJ kitties (I don't think it includes the last couple of weeks' worth but is fairly up to date). Many of them have weight data either in the spreadsheets or profiles. I haven't noticed whether there is a correlation between weight and going OTJ. Lucy was skin and bones when diagnosed but obese when she went OTJ. You might read through the studies linked in the New To Lantus sticky to see if there is any reference there.

I used a magnifier like this because it stands alone so I could adjust the dose in the syringe with both hands. I didn't need the little clips or anything (I use it for small repair work.) There are lots of other stand up magnifiers you could use that aren't expensive. Here is one place to find stuff: http://www.action-electronics.com/magnifiers.htm
