Oh yeah, don't shoot until Tess's BG is clearly rising or at the very least is steady (with no food.)

You've done this before, right? Keep testing!

I see Tess is on 0.75U.... I think could be a great place to earn BOS.... you have strips, HC juices if needed.... ??? only if you will be home today....

76 is a fantastic PS numbah

Sorry about not posting back right away. Just as we were getting ready to shoot my mother and sister showed up to check on me. Tess ate about half of her brunch, can't really call it breakfast this late. and we shot only a couple of minutes late.

We will test again at +1. Numbers could be up al little from the visitors too.

bcatrun_gif Tess is up to 103, but could come down again in a few hours, she had some excitement this morning. She ate some 4% food at shot time and a little more now, not too hungry probably because we tested at least every 2 hours (if not every hour) all night and gave snacks.

Very active this morning, playing and checking out every thing that has been moved around. (We brought a chair in from outside, verrrry interesting!) Looks like another good surf today, knock on wood. nailbite_smile

Great Numbahs! If she's not too hungry I'd take it as a hint that she doesn't feel like she will be spiraling down anytime soon cat_pet_icon which is good! Mommabean can breef and not nail bite :smile:

If it were me, and I was going to continue to test I think I would get a +3. (this is not me telling you when to test) :mrgreen:

Tess at +4 was 60. To recap, AMPS= 94, +1~103, +3~64, +4~60. She just ate a good snack.
 
PMPS is 101 and Tess received her shot of skinny .75u.

It's been a really smooth day.Tess has been much more active today and her coat is getting shiner again. She did flinch when I gave her the shot tonight. Does that mean that I got it in the muscle?

Should I still be testing every other hour?
 
i'd probably set my alarm and test at +3 but just leave food out. can you trust tess to eat only when she needs it, or would she eat anything put out? if the former, i might just set alarm for near nadir.
depends on how tired you are, tho.
 
With Tess we usually have to work to get her to eat enough, so leaving food out is no problem. She will eat overnight if she's hungry though. So thanks, getting to bed and then a plus 3 sounds great.
 
Tess's BG at +3 is 53. She cleaned out the 3/4oz. of 4% I gave her, and is looking for more. I will oblige a s she hasn't eaten enough today. Check again at +5? or +6?
 
definitely, leave her as much food as she should have finished in the past 24 hrs.
next time you see a number like 53 at +3, especially at night, you might want to leave 7% for her if you need a break. i'd check again at +5.
 
Tess at +5 was 68. She had eaten some of what we had left out, maybe a little less than half of it. She is feeding now, a good quarter 0f an ounce.

PMPS~101, +3~53, +5~68.
 
+8 is 85, so Tess is gently rising out of the over night surf.

Tess came in to wake us up this morning, not so much to get fed as to get brushed and to play. Very happy kitty this morning. cat_pet_icon

Did a +11, Tess was at 86. She has been quite active all morning and is still not settling town for the all the napping she has been doing. All the Ps definitely in evidence.

couldn't post for a while, FDMB not responding.
