The emergency vet is about 30 minutes away my from house.Ack. In the right direction, but not high enough.
Just for info, how far away is your emergency vet? Hoping he comes up soon (as he has in past cycles), but if he keeps this up, I agree with Jill, the ER vets will have a much easier time dealing with this.
Thank youOK, good to know.
Fingers and paws crossed for the next test! Moose, you have to be tired of gravy at some point!

Slowly, but surely.Creeeeeeeeping up... Sigh.
You know, when you were talking about getting calipers earlier in the thread, I almost replied "not sure he'll still be on insulin by the time you get them". Nothing about this evening is making me change my mind on this!
C'mon Moose, time to start moving up for real!
I had the same thought. Save your money. You know, when you were talking about getting calipers earlier in the thread, I almost replied "not sure he'll still be on insulin by the time you get them". Nothing about this evening is making me change my mind on this!

You don't have to tell me twice!I had the same thought. Save your money.![]()

I'll be here for about 2 more hours.![]()
No worries, thank you for your help! I'm feeling just fine with this. No problem.OK, Moose, you definitely do not like dramatic swings upwards, I can see that!
Rae, I'm probably going to have to cut out soon-- how are you feeling with this? Am I right in thinking you haven't fed since the 44 at +3.5?
Thank you!!I'll be here for about 2 more hours.![]()
You're the best! That is correct, I thought that I wasn't supposed to feed once in the 50's? I will feed if needed!
I'll relay the message, and let Moose know that you said to behaveOh, thank you, Mandy. I think things are good here with Moose (if he behaves himself and does what he usually does), but it's always good to have eyes on the situation.
Great job as usual, Rae! Fingers crossed for an uneventful rest of your evening, so you can get some sleep....
Wow!!!!Running into an issue. Moose must have vomited a little...I didn't realize until I went to pick up the meter. He had vomited right on the meter, and it got into the strip reader. Now I'm getting an E6 error message. I don't have a backup meter...I was going to pick one up today but at the rate Moose was going...I didn't think it was necessary. I feel silly now. Going to try again, if not I will run out to Walmart and get a new one. Wish I would have picked another one up today..grr...

Thank you thank you that means a lot!Moose just doesn't know when to stop, does he? You are doing a great job with him!
Seriously! He rarely throws up...and the rare time that he does, he just so happens to throw up right on the meter! And just so, that the throw up gets into the only part of the meter that I can't clean, and which makes the meter useless. It was a set up!!That's what Moose thought about the multiple tests.![]()

Ugh yes! Do they ever have more than 2 lanes open?!Omg those lines at wallyworld![]()
