Ack. In the right direction, but not high enough.

Just for info, how far away is your emergency vet? Hoping he comes up soon (as he has in past cycles), but if he keeps this up, I agree with Jill, the ER vets will have a much easier time dealing with this.

The emergency vet is about 30 minutes away my from house.

Creeeeeeeeping up... Sigh.

You know, when you were talking about getting calipers earlier in the thread, I almost replied "not sure he'll still be on insulin by the time you get them". Nothing about this evening is making me change my mind on this!

C'mon Moose, time to start moving up for real!

Slowly, but surely.

I had the same thought...he doesn't seem to stay on one dose long enough! Maybe the vet was right about taking him off of the insulin...but of course I want to do it the correct way that will aid in a successful remission!

I keep thinking that my meter is wrong or something...I forgot to test it on my myself but I will make a note to do so tomorrow morning.

I'm hoping that he will follow last night's pattern and end up in dark green at +4...then again I did OD him a bit on Karo last night by accident!

I had the same thought. Save your money. :joyful:

OK, Moose, you definitely do not like dramatic swings upwards, I can see that!

Rae, I'm probably going to have to cut out soon-- how are you feeling with this? Am I right in thinking you haven't fed since the 44 at +3.5?

No worries, thank you for your help! I'm feeling just fine with this. No problem.

That is correct, I thought that I wasn't supposed to feed once in the 50's? I will feed if needed!

Oh, thank you, Mandy. I think things are good here with Moose (if he behaves himself and does what he usually does), but it's always good to have eyes on the situation.

Great job as usual, Rae! Fingers crossed for an uneventful rest of your evening, so you can get some sleep....
I'll relay the message, and let Moose know that you said to behave ;) You know that kids don't like listening to their own parents, so maybe he will listen to you!

Thanks again and always for your help! You rock!! :D

Running into an issue. Moose must have vomited a little...I didn't realize until I went to pick up the meter. He had vomited right on the meter, and it got into the strip reader. Now I'm getting an E6 error message. I don't have a backup meter...I was going to pick one up today but at the rate Moose was going...I didn't think it was necessary. I feel silly now. Going to try again, if not I will run out to Walmart and get a new one. Wish I would have picked another one up today..grr...

Wow!!!! :eek: amazing job!:cat::bighug::bighug:

Well that was an adventure! Couldn't get the meter to work, so I ran to Walmart (which was about to close soon!) and picked up the LAST Relion Confirm (since those are the only strips that I have.) The line was 20 people long (all with huge carts of stuff.) But I made it, lol!

+6 = 84

Phew...

Omg those lines at wallyworld:banghead::banghead:
Ugh yes! Do they ever have more than 2 lanes open?! :banghead: I was about to ask the lady in front of me if I could jump in front of her because my "son" was having a medical emergency...he technically is my son so...but I didn't lol :p
