Back into the pinks, just like always .. :YMSIGH:

WCR: slept on her stand, but didn't realize that I pulled it much closer to my side of the bed then to the window, where she couldn't scratch at it all night. Thought that was a great idea till twix started pawing at the door on the other side.

Congrats on the dosecrease! A +7.5~32?? Mocha doesn't fool around when she wants to make a point! :lol:

Hope the bounce clears quickly & she's back down to the blues & greens for ya. :thumbup

Sorry about the rubber mocha this morning! I've just looked at your SS and look at all the green this week! Little stinkus pinkus doesn't last too too long anymore.... it's a temporary Mr.L freakout - short lived and all. Nice progress!

Congrats on the dosecrease!!

Just as a point of clarity and feel free to kick me, I think it would be beneficial to 'see' the dosecrease number in the main part of the SS (vs in the comments). Most of the time, I look at the SS and also at the comments, but I try to focus on the hourly log part of the SS- if the dosecrease number jumps out, it's easier to see.... that's all... You do what you want, I'm not the SS police.

Mocha was just a little nostalgic for the old days. It will pass.

Just FYI, I mark my dosecreases with a blank line above the day of the change. Then I shade the line and narrow it down, so it forms a little rule or partial "frame" and I can look at BGs within a certain dosage window easily.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what we can possibly try to make her AMPS numbers come down any? It seems no matter how low she goes at night, or if she stays high yellows at night, her amps number is 99% of the time pink. It is a disappointment to start the day out with. We are already doing small meals through the day and through the night and we know she does not get into anything she shouldn't overnight because she is locked up in our room. Her last meal of the night is at +8, so she basically has a 4 hour gap before we test her morning numbers. We just don't understand. She has had two blue amps numbers within the last few weeks, but again, she is almost always pink in the morning.

I think the word on the street is that the AMPS are the last numbers to come down....I'm sure part of it is because of insulin resistance from dawn effect.

I see the sunshine of the cycle already! :mrgreen:

hmmm .. nice green ... I like!

To bad the morning numbers are the last ones to start dropping. Like I said you go to bed and get up through the night and find your cat surfing in the low 100's for hours, only to get a morning reading up in stinkus pinkus land. Disappointing!

Hey, if my cat was getting these nice green numbers at nadir - I'd be happy. It's a long training session for Mr. L but it looks like it's doing better. Enjoying the snow??

Can't say we are complaining about her daytime numbers, what a nice sight those are!

Joyce, I hate the snow! I've already shoveled twice today, three times if you include re shoveling the end of the driveway, where the plow guy graciously waited for me to move, only to continue on his way throwing about two more feet of wet snow at the end of the driveway. Peter already shoveled the driveway once this morning, thanks to all the drifting. I am so ready for spring!

wanted to grab a +7 on mocha considering the drop she had yesterday but fell asleep and was able to catch her at +8. I hope she didn't go much lower and I didn't catch it, but when I woke up, she was sound asleep next to me. She's eating LC right now, since it should be past nadir.

we are so proud of our bear bear baloo!!! I can't believe how well she is doing during the day/evening. I'm sure I'm jinxing any progress we are making but I can't help it. I really feel like she want's regulation and is doing her best to get there!
 
thanks everyone! I know we have a long ways to go, but it feels like we have come miles. Now at pmps numbers in the 60's we don't bat an eye. Maybe we'll see the last of those pinks yet!
