2/23 Max AMPS 260

Nice blues, not sure I would have given HC in the blues. I hope his tummy is OK.
I agree I shouldn’t have, but since he was still dropping with MC, I wasn’t sure if that would hold him. That is so hard for me to judge what to leave out when I’m leaving the house for a while. He will probably have a high PMPS. If I had been able to stay home I would have stuck with all LC, maybe we’d have gotten to green. So far his tummy is okay. Waiting for his vet to call me with his GI panel results today, so I will post later.

Good news on Max’s GI panel. His fTLI is 58.7 (12-82) Back in August (5 months ago), it was 122.6. His Cobalamin is normal (>1000) and his folate is slightly elevated >24 (9.7-21.6) His vet said that can be from small intestinal bacterial overgrowth or vitamin supplementation. He does take Zobaline so I’m not sure if that’s what the issue is. He’s already on a probiotic as well. I’m really happy that his pancreatitis has improved. Now we just have to get his tummy issues controlled a little better. He gets both diarrhea and constipation. Seems a little better with the Budesonide but still gets one or the other. The novel protein helps too if we stick with it like we are supposed to.

Great news on the GI panel results. What was the Cobalamin number? Normally it'd be low if not normal.
It was reported as >1000. It didn’t show the actual number??? I will include a snapshot of the report for you to see.

Over 1000 on Cobalamin is good. I'm used to seeing a number.
Yes, I was looking for a number too, but I think this must be the way they record it at Texas A&M. I see his last GI panel didn’t list a number either back in August. Anyway it’s good and that’s good enough for me.:) Thanks.
