2/22, Francis's numbers - thoughts?

PM/127

Same issue as before; the numbers a little high (right?) but if she gives him one drop he goes to below 50. She's scared to have a hypo happen while she's at work, so she's going this route. Has this ever happened to anyone else here? I am not sure what to tell her. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

WCR: doing fine! No symptoms.

Can someone remind me what the range of normal BG is for cats that aren't diabetic?

I believe non diabetic range is 60-120...but as u can see some of our OTJ Trial kitties have been in the 50's and 40's without insulin, so here comes the ECID la-la-la-la :lol:

Francis is close there,,,I'd like to see what others say on this, give ur mom a big (((hug))) from all of us, she is doing really great caring for Francis!!

Traci, how long has Francis been diabetic? He was on 3 units of PZI BID until January, is that right? Has your mom had any luck spreading out Francis's meals?

Hi Libby-

Mom did "space" his meals when she fed Francis at +6 on one of the weekend days. It helped a little but not hugely. She won't be able to do this at all during the week but can do it when she's off.
