Yesterday's Condo

Well, I knew it couldn't last forever. Looks like our long streak of green every day may come to an end. Of course, there is still tonight....

Cinco was having a tough time getting to the lb this morning - that cone really messes with his ability to find his way around. I guess he finally gave up because he pooped on one of his little beds. :eek: After I cleaned it up I sat there looking at him and trying to figure out what I could do. If only I could just cover the hot spot so he couldn't get to it, and take the cone off....Eureka!!

I had a size medium shirt I had bought for Sasha that was too big, and for some reason I held on to it. Now I know why! He really wasn't sure about it at first, but once he figured out he could walk and even get up on the sofa, he decided it was okay (for now). I know he's thrilled to have the collar off. Why didn't I think of this sooner?!!!:facepalm:

All kitties ate well today - Minka after her tummy meds kicked in and Sasha with much plate holding and coercion (Forti Flora and cookies). Harvey with no effort on my part other than keeping the plate filled!

@Vyktors Mum, I have a med sheet on each cat (made a chart on Excel and printed it out) that lists their drugs and has a cell for me to put the time they were given. It's the only way to make sure everyone gets what they need when they need it - especially when some are every day, some twice a day, some MWF, etc.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :bighug: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, DH and DGD, Lisa's DF, Chris' DM and Elise's DM.

I'll have to get a t-shirt for Rusty after his ultrasound. When you say "medium" do you mean a child's medium? an infant's medium? an adult medium? Or is it specifically for cats??

Come back soon to the lagoon, Cinco. The surf is fine!

Cinco looks so cute in his new outfit!! They say "necessity is the mother of invention" and I"m sure he's much more comfortable without the cone of shame.

Great to hear all the kitties ate well today! I'm sure that makes their mamabean feel better too!

OK now Cinco....that's not a bad cycle, but mama wants you to go back to your pretty green numbers! You can do it!
 
@Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA), shhhhh! Don't tell Cinco, but it's a dog's shirt! :eek:;) I found that the sizes fluctuate a lot, just like in womens clothing. I have a medium that fits Sasha just fine, and this one is way too big for her. I also have a small that is too small for her and several that are perfect. It was a trial and error thing when I started. Now I can eyeball them.

The girls are still working on finishing their dinners. Harvey is trolling for more food. Cinco is sleeping blissfully sans collar. He's still a little unsure about walking around in the shirt, but he's been on and off the couch and up on the back of it, too, so far with no problems, so I think this might work! :) I'll have to get him another shirt or two, as I suspect it'll be at least another week before he can do without one. We just got back from Petco, and they only had jackets on hand? Jackets! It's in the upper 60s and low 70s here and they only had jackets?! :rolleyes: I need to hit Petsmart tomorrow anyway, as Petco didn't have our kind of litter, so I'll check there.

Nice blue PMPS, so maybe we'll still see some green tonight - paws are crossed!

Awwwww- I love Cinco's T-shirt! You have the most cooperative kitties! :smuggrin::smuggrin: That was exceptional thinking on your part Tricia- I bet Cinco just loves that he could lose the cone!
 
I see green in your future tonight Cinco. Show mama you love the t-**** better than than the nasty cone and join Max in the lagoon.
