Yesterday's Green Fest
I think Cinco just made a cameo appearance in the lagoon today because he knows how happy it makes me. He didn't want to stay longer because he is tired of having his ears poked! Poor baby! He spent a lot of time splashing around last night and I had to get the net to fish him out! He's not too happy with me right now because I just checked out his hotspot and sprayed it with anti-itch cream. It's looking okay, but I still don't know what caused it, so I'm leery about taking the collar off. I think I'll leave it on until his Oncology check up on Tuesday and see what they say. He doesn't like it, but he's adjusted to it again and does okay. He REALLY loves his back rubs right now - lets me get a little rougher and rub more of him than normal, probably because he can't groom anything but his back legs and tail and this feels pretty good. He really is a good cat about all the stuff I do to him. He's been through way more than any kitty should have to endure and still puts up with me!
Sasha didn't want her breakfast this morning and only took a few bites because I really pushed it at her and piled on the Forti Flora. I thought she look uncomfortable, so I went and got some Cerenia, and right after I got it down her (with a struggle), she vomited - food and gelcap! Poor thing. I waited fifteen minutes and then got a new gelcap with more Cerenia. She hasn't eaten anything yet, but no vomiting. I'm going to go offer food shortly - it's been a couple of hours.
Good news and bad news on the weigh ins. The good: Harvey gained three ounces!
The bad: Minka lost 5!
I haven't weighed Sasha yet. She's next. I only weigh Cinco once a month, as his weight barely fluctuates. He's not due for a couple of weeks.
Minka wasn't excited about breakfast, either, so she got a crumb of Mirtz. She came down a little while ago, looking for food, but nothing I had out interested her. Then she started cleaning up the crumbs on Harvey's tray (he's very messy eater - pushes the food off the plate or dish and sometimes doesn't clean up after himself). There was some Cowboy Cookout left from last night. It was dry, but she ate it. Funny, I had just been about to clean it off when she did it for me!

Another warm day in Northern CA, but very foggy to start. It still looks kind of gray out. Sasha has been going from room to room, looking for a patch of sunshine to no avail.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans.
Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, DH and DGD, Lisa's DF, Chris' DM and Elise's DM.
