vet called to report nothing bad about results-all's well...will email me results shortly.
so back to square one-lack of appetite still unknown.guess it's sounding more like a bout with pancreastitus, no cpt test was taken,since he wasnt suffering at the time(mistake).
meanwhile his #'s are very low-dont even know if i should shoot tonight.he seems to be ok, abit on the quiet side.guess i'll see what the next few hours bring.

Buddys amps was 72, waited another hour , fed grilled beef FF, shot .50.
wcr: ok, but still very little appy. :sad:
think he may be in the litter box aliitle more. waiting for vet to call with blood work results.
Jojo-will recap entire week later -need to work now until 4 pm.

Glad he's eaten something other than tuna. The fluids he had yesterday should make him feel better.

I hope you're feeling better, too.

hey you home yet or did you get snowed in somewhere?

how has his eating been lately?
btw, during a CP flare not all cats throw high numbers, some throw lower numbers (usually cause they are not eating their normal amount).
 
ack, i haven't check my e-mail for a week or more. (never check it since we switched to new board and reported posts don't go there anymore, lol). use FB PM, have a better chance of seeing it (although i am so far behind in those too, sigh. stupid illness only leaves me with a couple of good hours a day).

if he 'wasn't suffering at the time' that blood work was done, why was he at vet for blood work?
okay will go check e-mail but i need a history here of what is going on medically to help.
 
okay checked e-mail (oh man there is a million there i have to read. sigh) and his labs are fine. slight dehydration is prolly why those 2 values are slightly outta range.
 
Day before yesterday he was vomited 4 times in 5 hours, no appetite , lethargy. i took him to the vet next day , even tho' he was stable, still little appetite....2 days later, today,he seems subdued and not eating well, altho still purring ,preening and playing,but not as much. is it safe to assume he had a cp flareup? if so , should i get fluids and needles and Bup for next time? cost 300 at the vet to hydrate him a nd take blood.cannot do that again.
