    @Nan & Amber m' a donné pleins de renseignements, aidée aussi par @Stephanie & Quintus .

    Aujourd'hui, je teste, je donne à manger et j'injecte 20 à 30 minutes après.

    Merci beaucoup

    Hello to you

    I showed up on http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/...translate-and-caninsulin.189973/#post-2121512

Yesterday, I read a very interesting discussion between @johnt and his cat Wilbur and @Kris & Teasel and Cardère.

And how, he took charge of the blood glucose tests and the doses to give. I found that the rates were not bad but Johnt does not seem happy.

Since Gomette's rates are higher, and each cat is different, I would like there to be a follow-up by someone who knows a lot about it.

I understood what the ideal curve was.

@Nan & Amber gave me lots of information, helped by Stephanie and Quintus as well.

Today, I test, I give food and I inject 20 to 30 minutes later.

The curves of the day seem to be correct. Gomette eats in the morning at 7am, at noon and at 7pm. Then a meal around 23h.

Then nothing until 7am the next morning.

On my French band, Kailee and Stephanie advise me to give the same food of the day for the night.
I had already explained that it is difficult because I have another crying cat if she does not have it to eat either.

The only solution would be programmable bowls for each.

There is the problem of injection rates. For you, is the situation correct?

Can you help me beyond what my girlfriends have already done?

    Thank you very much

Good summary of the situation, congratulations for posting, @Martine and Gomette!

A tip: to "mention" someone, write "@" and write (paste) the beginning of their name. A list appears where you can choose the right person. If you want you can modify your publication to identify people (in the bottom left of your publi, "Edit").

I think the knot is there. It is very difficult to find some stability if the equation "insulin = glucose" is not the same day and night. Is there any reason why you could not feed your other cat at night too? Everyone is in the same boat! There is indeed the solution of the programmable bowls, either with a timer or with a chip.

But I think if you can give Gomette the same ration during the night cycle, it'll help a lot.

Other than that, I find that the descent into the blue of Gomette the day is nice, but we do not really know what she does at night, especially since she does not have the same amount of food. (And I understand that you have to sleep ...)

As I told you in the French group, I think that even with Caninsulin you have to look first to have a fixed dose that you can give morning and evening for several days, and then adjust it if necessary, but avoid to vary the dose all the time.

Thank you @Stephanie & Quintus for the tip. Yes the more I go, the better I understand that the problem is there. I'll try to fix it, @Kailee § Dallas gave me a bowl model that I could take. Regarding the doses, that's where I have a doubt. I would really like to know what to put to it as a dose if I want it to be closer in the morning as in the evening.

As I understand it, for dose adjustment, once you've given a steady dose for at least a few days, or a week, you're making a curve. The curve + accumulated data over days is the basis for determining whether the dose needs to be increased or not. You come to talk about it here and we look :)
