2/18 Buster 103 AMPS

Hello!

I only gave Buster one unit of insulin this morning instead of two since his BC was 103.

He's still got the puddingpoo.

I went to walmart last night to try and get the B12 supplement everyone on the message board talks about, but I couldn't find it. I'll have to try a different store. Anyone have any suggestions? How do you give the supplement to the kitty?

hi jennifer. have you done any spot checks since you gave the shot? if not, please test now.
whenever you shoot on your lowest preshot ever you'll want to get those early spot checks at +1 and +2... even if you've reduced the dose.

did you get a ps number and any spot checks last night?

I got a ps last night, but I forgot the number so I didn't want to guess just to fill out my SS. I'll get it marked down when I get home.

Do you mean spot check to see if I missed? I put my hand on the injection site after I did the one unit this morning and it was dry. I can smell it if I've missed. Is that what you mean?

a spot check is a term we use for getting another blood glucose test.
have you had time to read the through the stickies (starred items) thoroughly (at the top of the forum)?
