Hi all,
Vines and prayers for all kitties in need.
Previous post
George is back on the juice, he got a steroid shot and it's knocked him out of remission.
On Wednesday morning he refused to eat, those of you that know him will be hearing the same alarm bells ringing that I did, he had diarrhea and had puked too. Throughout the morning he ate a little but not much. So off we went to the vet, he had fluid/inflammation in his tummy, and vet felt he needed a steroid shot, even though he was reluctant due to his FD history. Si he gave him a slow acting shot, by the time I got home his appetite was back and he was clearly feeling better. But sure enough his BG started to climb, spent all day in mid blues yesterday hitting yellow and finally pink this morning. I've given him 0.25 u.
He has been doing really well so it's very sad and frustrating that this has happened.
I'll try and check in on some kitties today. So many new names, and sadly some names conspicuous by their absence.
Surf safely

I wish the medical world could come up with another alternative to that double-edged sword.
