It’s not bad at all. It looks very much like she’s in remission!Normal BG is 50-80 mostly with occasional low 100’s.
Yes. You can give her more wet to get her the required number of calories. How much does she weigh again?oh my goodness! That’s crazy. How long do you need numbers in that range to be classified in remission?
I am a little concerned that since I took the dry food out maybe she won’t get as many calories daily since she’s just getting wet. I ordered the freeze dried treats but they don’t have much either. Should I give another can?
Is that a good weight for her? Can you feel her ribs slightly? Is she large for a female?
Unless large for a female 15 would be too much. My two girls are small and almost 9 pounds. I’m going to cut back a little on their food. My tortie was best at 10 1/2 pounds. Sounds like Chloe is right where she should be.Yes, It seems to be a good weight for her. The most I recall her weighing was 15 several years back & she lost down to 10 when she diagnosed with hyperthyroid. I can feel ribs slightly but can’t see them. If I remember correctly the vet was happy with her weight also. She’s average size I would say. I think 15 was too much.
