Hi recently seen my cat had an abscess on his leg. And after a couple of days it was huge. Took him to the vet. I have not given him insulin in about a month. Im not a bad mom i swear. Bought a new bottle and someone unplugged my mini fridge without telling me and i am not rich. Well hes on novolin again and they think the abscess is a diabetic one. Im worried it wont heal. Hes 15 but still lively but idk what im going to do if he has this and it doesnt go away. Not sure if anyone has any suggestions or been through the same thing. He doesnt get out of the vet till tomorrow. They had an emergency so vet had to leave. Im just really worried. I want to be a better cat mom but i need help. Also they said he is on gabapentin for the pain. But didnt mention anything of antibiotics but didnt get a chance to ask.
