Keeping this brief since I still have company this weekend, but I really appreciate all your input from yesterday! Another so-so cycle for Bell.

@Wendy&Neko : Thanks so much. I tried looking at her gums and was able to check out the gumline up to her fangs, which looked ok. Wasn't able to get a look further back in her mouth. She doesn't seem overly sensitive to me. I let the vet know about her reaction to the anesthesia when it happened and made it sure that they marked it down in her file.

I'm going to try to get her into the vet on the week of the 16th (when i'm off work) and just have a checkup on her teeth and any other areas that maybe flaring up. I'll do some digging into the archives here as well. I really appreciate the lead everyone!

If it is her teeth, once they clear up the inflammation, I'm assuming I'd have to be super careful that her numbers don't plummet?

It's hard to say what having a dental will do, though if there is an issue, it can usually help. Not sure I'd use the word "plummet" though. You have dealt with lower numbers before.

What I mean is if something external (infection/inflammation) was keeping her numbers high, then when that gets fixed, I would likely need to be very careful at still giving the same dose. Maybe she would really only need 2.5 units, but I’d be giving her 5 units because of the infection/inflammation.

I’m also getting wayyyy ahead of myself, as usual. Just want to be prepared if/when that time comes

ECID - seen dentals everything from no change to going flatter and greener and going down in dose.
