Wow what a saturday night!! My niece was babysiting and did a great job for her first time monitoring! Next time I'll show her how to log onto to here so she has a bit of support if she can't get me.
Khan seems to be happier. He slept right next to me purring this morning! Last night his back right hock was full of cat litter- which I thought- geezz are you going to clean that? I had just placed Dr. Elsey's purple bag litter into the boxes.. I guess it was a bit sticker than the blue bag or he just peed on his hock and set it in the litter? Well 20 minutes later he was at his leg cleaning it. pull, thump, pull, thump--lick lick.. kept me up he was so loud!
This morning he was meowing and meowing for food. He was walking on his hocks this morning. Walk then rest, walk then rest. His back hocks are going bare and scabby. I put some neosporin on it and it seemed to help. His ears..well he did NOT like that neosporin on it. Both turned really red and I had to wash and dry right away or he would of scratch until both bled.
Any ideas on treatment for his ears going bare? If this isn't something that is normal then maybe I have to consider he may have the ringworm back. It has been in my house for over a year. I've fought it aggressively. What I"ll do is wash his ears with medication shampoo... works great. and he never has had a rxn to it. I'm nervous about washing his back legs with it though since I don't want to cause more harm than good.
