Well, I did it! I got a Libre sensor onto him, and it's working!

I'd say "third time's the charm," but there was nothing charming about that rather traumatizing wrestling match we just had. He's very upset with me, and whatever his last two cycles may have looked like (I'll never know), I can't say I'm surprised that he's up "HI" again now. My poor, poor boy. He is steering well clear of me, and I can't blame him even a little. I wish there were some way to explain. 💔

Please let this one work for the full two weeks or close to it so we don't have to go through anything like that again anytime soon!

At his vet appointment on Monday, I will make sure to get some gabapentin so that I have some chance of doing this more easily next time. And I'll probably ask the vet to do it sometimes if it lines up correctly with appointment time (with the stipulation that they never use surgical glue again).

Phew ... now I can relax for an hour and a half before bedtime, at least. I feel like I've run a very strange and uncomfortable marathon.

Congratulations, Allie! I'm sure Gen will come back around, soon. Hopefully in a couple of days you can take a dose increase and move closer to some lower numbers for Eugenides.

Tuckered out after all that fuss and struggle.
