Shocking AMPS this morning... makes me worried he went even lower during the night. He rarely has full downward cycles overnight, so I thought we were okay. I contemplated a 5.50 skinny this morning, but I'll be home so I went for the full 5.50.

I've also been contemplating changing up his feeding schedule. If I look back at his SS, most of his big breakthroughs have come after even the slightest shift in meal distribution and with the coming holiday break, I feel okay taking that chance. One thought I had was turning his 3 1/4 can snacks into 5 or 6 1/8 can meals or even moving a 1/4 of his 3/4 meal times into an additional snack time... oh the minutiae of FD. @Tim & Pookey I know you had transitioned Pookey from 4 to 5 snacks, did you see a benefit? Happy for any other thoughts or insights from anyone!

Happy Thursday/almost Friday! Safe surfing :bighug:

Sorry, didn’t mean to react laugh, meant care…

Your feed schedule looks good to me. You could try spreading it out more though, would be a good experiment. Looking back, I’m not sure how much the changes we did to the schedule really made a difference, but hard to say.

Have you noticed him more hungry at different times? One nice thing about front loading most of the calories for us is I can leave the house after +2 and not worry as much if he sleeps through the late ones because they’re smaller.

No worries haha. I press the wrong one all the time, especially on the phone!

Binx is pretty much hungry all the time. After he has a snack, he chills out for about an hour and then he sits next to the feeder for almost the entire next hour before it goes off... which makes me wonder if he's stressed about getting food and feeding more frequently will calm him/his numbers down. After his +6 snack, he mellows out a lot because I think he knows his snacks are done and then his hunger picks up around +10/+11. Like you said, would be a good experiment so maybe I'll start by splitting up early snacks and front load a bit more. Thanks, Tim!

Good thinking, that makes sense. Yea if he’s parked over there hourly anyways!

I’m actually thinking about going to something similar to yours. I’ve been carrying him and ushering him to the feeder recently. Maybe some residual effects from his nausea thing the other day, or arthritis making him not want to get up. Maybe yours would keep him a little hungrier.

Good li k with the dose change and snack schedule. I hope it makes Binx less anxious about his meals.

Have a happy day, Briana 🥰😻💖

Ou! That’s a good experiment too… I know for Sadie she’s only really motivated to eat when she’s pretty hungry, so it could work! Sorry about the nausea though, that’s no good. Let us know how it goes if you try it out 😊
