Cali hanging in there, contending with 4 other cats. Latest one is Cindrella with a big catitude. Total gang of 5 with no more vacancies.

yes the newest one is CINDRELLA [soon to be “piggy sue” if she does not slow down on food.
Another escapee from our Chinese neighbors. They are going to think we are Chinese cat burglars. LOL
Honestly the cats come to us and choose us over: no or little food, no outside protection, little attention except from dogs, coyotes, bob cats, mountain lions or bad cars! Also non fixed nor microchipped nor vet attention.
Guess the cats do choose us! Shuffling is full time though because BEAR our #4 still wants to fight and kill #2 Two Socks and #3 Fred. Bear is a survivor killer who survived 5 months without food….He kills ground squirrels, moles+. After neuter and attempt to return to neighbor’s, he is now Fat Cat. However he seriously injured Fred #2 with neurological damage. Fred now has palsy similar to Parkinson’s or cerebral palsy. I don’t know if veterinarians can correct. I occasionally give gabapentin or Cali’s pain meds.
What a distraction and love this gang provides to DH and I. Refocuses us on the present :oops:
