Happy Tuesday!!! We hope all of you are doing well and send healing vines to all in need. Thanks for the get well wishes for me....I'm feeling purty good today!! :joyful:

Missy G is doing purty good, too! She was soooooo excited today that it was warm enough for catio time. She and Tobes raced in and out and then settled down in the sun on their condo out there. She was supposed to see Dr. B today for those vomiting episodes last week that may/may not have been tied to the WN (which we are no longer giving). However, Dr. B called me this morning and we discussed it. She said to be sure and remove all the WN in her rotations just to eliminate that as a possibility. She also said that she really still thinks that Gracie's issues have never been her liver but are tummy or intestinal and perhaps there is a bit of inflammation. Of course, the only way to tell is endoscopy or biopsy and we don't want to do that yet. I told her that I had given Gracie 1/4 of a 16 mg cerenia on Friday night and 1/8th on Sunday night. She thought it would be a good idea to continue 1/8th EOD in case there is some inflammation. And to call her if the vomiting occurs again.

Important note: please do not ever give your kitty any meds, including insulin, that has not been discussed with and prescribed by your vet. Dr. B prescribed cerenia for Gracie some time ago to use "as needed" and she trusts that I will discuss with her if I do use it, which I have done.

Gracie had about 36 hours in wonderful :D:D until Mr. L decided this morning that the dip to the 40s last night was not of his liking. No R for LBG today; I want to see how long it takes her to clear on her own and, I gave it to her the other day, and it started a dive/bounce. I am almost at the very bottom of the current pen so a new one is on the horizon.

We are very excited about getting to know everyone in this new L/L forum. It's always fun to make new friends :):) Have a great day!!

Gracie, come and play with me in the lagoon tonight, okay? I'm glad that the cerenia has worked its magic.

Gracie, you are soooooo lucky. My enclosure is cold, cold, cold. So's my house. (Cheap mama). ... Polly

All sounds good for Gracie's throw-up issues. So glad. Glad you're feeling "purty good" too.

I hope Gracie clears the bounce soon. I'm glad you didn't need to take Gracie to the vet and the cerenia is helping her.

Thanks Elise, Marilyn, and Carla for visiting.

Wouldn't you know....the day i don't give R, she's stubborn about the bounce :p I do give it (a tiny drop) and she races down (which meant she was headed down anyway). Oh well...a break for all of us. As long as she's having a slow slide, I hope she continues it slowly tonight into the grotto and then tomorrow.....paws crossed :D:D:D

Wow Gracie! That's one beautiful run in greens! :D Hopefully that long stretch will convince Ms. L that it's not necessary to bounce so dramatically.

Glad you were able to avoid a trip to the vet and have an action plan to try to address the tummy troubles.

I'm glad to read you're feeling better, Marje. Have a great evening!

didn't know you needed the endoscopy/biopsy stuff too.....
such a huge thing for our tiny furbabies.....

hi Marje
so happy you and Gracie are feeling better. that's great that she didn't need a vet visit.

Marje so sorry you and Gracie have not been feeling well but so very happy to hear you both are back to normal!
My husband and I both have have nasty cold s that we apparently got from family @ Christmas, so we have been doing nothing but laying around and watching Christmas Hallmark movies ;)

I have to go and try and catch up on condos to see what are the issues with WN food since there is one I include in Monet's and Picasso's rotation of food - Wellness CORE Grain-Free Beef, Venison & Lamb Formula - it is Picasso's go to food....he will alway eat it! So far I have not seen any issues but after reading your post I am very concerned.

Sending lots of hugs to you both and wishes to continue feeling better!

Hi Jen, Nadine, Ella, Rhiannon, and Rise'! So happy to see you all here :)

Gracie actually hasn't been feeling bad....she's just had a couple small, early morning vomits but she's raring to go after that. Can't keep LBG down :joyful:

I definitely need one of those star trek scanners!

Sorry you and DH have been sick, Rise'. I sure hope you are turning the corner. BTW, the WN that some members had issues with was none of the WN Core varities. It was some of the regular pate's.
