Happy Tuesday!!! We hope all of you are doing well and send healing vines to all in need. Thanks for the get well wishes for me....I'm feeling purty good today!!
Missy G is doing purty good, too! She was soooooo excited today that it was warm enough for catio time. She and Tobes raced in and out and then settled down in the sun on their condo out there. She was supposed to see Dr. B today for those vomiting episodes last week that may/may not have been tied to the WN (which we are no longer giving). However, Dr. B called me this morning and we discussed it. She said to be sure and remove all the WN in her rotations just to eliminate that as a possibility. She also said that she really still thinks that Gracie's issues have never been her liver but are tummy or intestinal and perhaps there is a bit of inflammation. Of course, the only way to tell is endoscopy or biopsy and we don't want to do that yet. I told her that I had given Gracie 1/4 of a 16 mg cerenia on Friday night and 1/8th on Sunday night. She thought it would be a good idea to continue 1/8th EOD in case there is some inflammation. And to call her if the vomiting occurs again.
Important note: please do not ever give your kitty any meds, including insulin, that has not been discussed with and prescribed by your vet. Dr. B prescribed cerenia for Gracie some time ago to use "as needed" and she trusts that I will discuss with her if I do use it, which I have done.
Gracie had about 36 hours in wonderful
until Mr. L decided this morning that the dip to the 40s last night was not of his liking. No R for LBG today; I want to see how long it takes her to clear on her own and, I gave it to her the other day, and it started a dive/bounce. I am almost at the very bottom of the current pen so a new one is on the horizon.
We are very excited about getting to know everyone in this new L/L forum. It's always fun to make new friends
Have a great day!!
