Good Morning LL!!
(peppermint white mochas for everyone!), and Happy Fursday!
I would like to thank everyone that visited Mannie's condo yesterday, and for all your well wishes for BlackJack, aka BJ. I've read them all over a hundred times, and am grateful for you all. BJ is home now, resting comfortably. The eTube feeding is going well, with no issues so far. Now if I can just get her to sit still during the feedings! sheshhhh... I am still waiting on the histology reports, and some labs. I hope that we are indeed just dealing with Pancreatitis, and that she responds to the game plan. Time will tell.... Thank you all again for you support!

WOW on yesterday... I sure missed having BJ lead the kitty choir yesterday morning, but did I ever wake up quick with that 71 at amps. I retested... Come to find out last night Mannie apparently was all over DH around 1AM, following him everywhere while he got ready for bed - a sure sign he needs food. I wish he had woken me so I could have tested him: Hmmmmmm.... I wonder how low was Mannie? He sure did have a great AM cycle. I fed the bulk of it with an 8%, just to keep him in the 70/80 range, DGS was here, he wasn't feeling all that great due to his vaccinations, and well - it was just safer. It will be interesting to see if we can avoid a bounce by keeping him out of the 60's... he always bounces when we go "too low": 40/50/60. He handles the 80's much better... we shall see - though with that 316 this morning, not too sure. All in all a wonderful day for Mannie. Good job big guy - lubs ya! cat_pet_icon
All is well in MannieLand.
I do miss the kitty choir - without the lead singer, they have severely neglected their duties! I didn't realize how much I really depended upon BJ getting them all fired up and making sure this bean was awake.  Mannie was back to protecting the Christmas tree today... he hasn't left it, except for a few short visits to check on the nanner piles. It seems so funny to think that now there are two piles .   I wonder how long it will be before he moves them. Elsa decided today she would play with one of the rainbows. GO ELSA! of course she waited until he was occupied elsewhere before attempting such a daring feat.     We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from the Nanner King, still kneading too! I think I need to trim his claws... Breffis was consumed with gusto - still at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used (YES!!), and well yes, once again Elsa did raid his auto feeder... What else is new there.   Normalcy in MannieLand: well almost, BJ is home, we are working on getting her better.
Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty today trough Friday - YAY! I have missed the little guy. I hope to get him out to a river maybe, or even just a beach. I hope he feels better today - yesterday he was under the influence of several vaccinations, and just didn't feel well at all. The weather is so iffy this week, we will no doubt be dodging the rains... I know I will not be able to get to condos until very late in the evening, SO So sorry! Do know that I am thinking of you all, and your furkids. Think BLUE, think GREEN kitties!
FRIENDS!!!! You guys are the bestest ever! BJ is so happy that everyone came, the KTSS came, and helped her feel better. She LOVED Tobey's massages and all the good soups. She was so glad that you guys took the trouble to puree them all up so they would work in that tube thing she has. she said though that she slurped some too and that was so much better than that silly tube thingie.... She says she feels much better, and hopes to be all better soon. PHEW! I sure could use a chillaxin' day today - you guys in? maybe some snow stuff at Zener's or Rusty's too. See you guys! ~~ Mannie
