Good morning,

Yesterday's condo

12/26 AMPS=124 (0.75u); +2=157; +4=203
12/26 PMPS=182 (0.75u); +2=184; +5.25=184

12/27 AMPS=158 (0.75u); +2=176; +8=146
12/27 PMPS=157 (0.75u); +2=185; +4=184;

I thought Lucy was improving and I thought she might be feeling better this morning but her appetite is still very poor.
She so far ate only 1/4 of her normal breakfast.

I hope everyone's having a nice day.

Re: 12/27 Lucy AMPS=158

Come on Lucy, quit worrying your bean and eat those fuds! Sending more appy vines to Lucy, and hugs for you, Mariko. I hope that Lucy feels better as the day goes on :-D

Re: 12/27 Lucy AMPS=158;+2=176

She ate a little more, maybe half of what she should eat.
I gave her cypro but it's not really working.

I have to leave for work now.
I just don't know how to make her better.

Re: 12/27 Lucy AMPS=158;+2=176

Would she eat some baby food?

I often resort to giving baby food to J.D. when he won't eat cat food.

Re: 12/27 Lucy AMPS=158;+2=176

Have you tried parm cheese? I've heard that works for some people, too. Sending tons and tons of hugs for both you and Lucy....

Re: 12/27 Lucy AMPS=158;+2=176

Nothing sends us beans into more of a panic than our furbabies not eating!! At least the AMPS looks pretty dang good. I hope Lucy's appy picks up.

Have a great day!!!

Zener likes the fortiflora and liver powder. He also likes the Pill Pocket treats, which will sometimes get him started eating. Sending tons of appy vines for Lucy. Hugs to you, Mariko.

Re: 12/27 Lucy PMPS=157

Thank you so very much for your suggestion, well wishes and vines.

When I came home at AM+8, Cypro I gave to her at AMPS was working and she ate some more.
I went out again, and when I came home this evening, the morning Cypro still had some effect, and she ate the 1st breakfast by finger-feeding.
She ate like she didn't really want it, so her own appetite isn't picking up yet.
I know she'd eat if I give her something she really likes, like raw meat foods, but she can't digest them well.

I can't find baby foods that I can be sure that does not have anything else but protein in Canada.
I tried many stores, baby food varieties are surprisingly limited in Canada.
Lucy doesn't like fortiflora or pill pockets.
I'll try mixing some different food other than Wellness, maybe I can find something she likes.
She didn't go for Fancy Feast Turkey & Giblet this morning - this had been my secret weapon in the past, but apparently not any more.

Time to feed the 2nd dinner.....meal time has become the least favorite time for both of us. :YMSIGH:

Re: 12/27 Lucy PMPS=157

Phew, the 2nd dinner finger-feeding session was a success.
I mixed a tiny bit of Evo into her Wellness, and I'm not sure if that's because of it or still just cypro, but she finished the 2nd dinner by finger-feeding within a relatively short amount of time....

Re: 12/27 Lucy PMPS=157

Hi Mariko! I know I've looked for the baby foods and it took awhile. The only ones I found were beef or chicken, there were usually only one or two rows of them and millions of the other ones :? I don't know if it helps you any since you're in a different city...but I found those in London Drugs, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Wal Mart. The brand was Heinz. I just looked at the one I have and it's called "Beef with Broth". It's ingredients are "Beef, Beef Broth, and Lemon Juice". The chicken one says "Chicken and Chicken Broth". Apparently they make a Lamb with broth one too. I'm not sure what is in the "broth" but their website says nothing about onions...it does have a 1-800 number on the jar to call with questions though...maybe these are the ones you already saw but I figured I'd mention it ;-)

Anyways, I'm so glad Lucy ate some more for you :-D . It's so tough when they won't  Hugs!

Re: 12/27 Lucy PMPS=157;+2=185

Thank you, Rachel.

I did find the Heinz Chicken and Broth when I was dong a baby food hunting a while ago.
I sent an e-mail to Heinz asking "what are in the broth? How do you make the broth?".
And they gave me one of those template reply "Things that aren't listed in the ingredients aren't allowed in their products, blah blah blah." so I decided not to use it as I can't be 100% sure what are in their broth.
