I hate to be a downer on Christmas eve/Christmas.
Just as I was getting in bed tonight, I inadvertently felt a lump on Shadow's tail about 2 inches away from the base. It's the size of a small grape and
firm to the touch.
I don't usually touch her tail, she's never liked it.
The vet hadn't noticed it either.
So I guess we'll be adding that to investigate on our visit to Albuquerque vet on Dec 26. :YMSIGH:
But it sure makes me feel like her chances are much higher that the pelvis/leg issue is cancer rather than osteo.
I don't know why everything is falling apart so.
I am so Blessed.
So I am trying to find the silver lining and not seeing it at the moment. I usually can find some most of the time.
My DGM was released from the hospital this morning. She's mostly better but extremely tired. I can't tell if she's just depressed about
the whole move or if she might have had a tiny stroke. All we can do is watch and see.
I know that changing to a high altitude can make one really tired.
Tomorrow we'll have my DM over and I'll watch whether or not my grandmother participates in the conversation.
I just feel like she's missing a few brain cells.
I wish for all of you to have a Merry Christmas. Mine has been overshadowed by a huge dark cloud ....
