12/22 Neko AMPS 157 PMPS 307 Blech!

Yesterday was another mostly blue day with a little pop to yellow during the day.

@Marje - Neko likes to tease me about switching her day and night cycles, but she always comes back to day/high, night/low. :roll: Nothing as simple as a dental is going to switch that. :lol: :lol:

Cats were STARVING this morning. I was woken 5 minutes before the alarm to the sounds of dying cats crying, whacking, litterbox thumping (Theo). A nice normal typical morning. :lol: :lol: Neko still hasn't been outside, for some reason the little bit of remaining snow seems to discourage her. She did spend time in the solarium but she's back to her cozy warm bed inside now.

I do wish the rain would stop, it's going to melt the remaining Christmas decorations. There's just enough to make the ground seem festive. Speaking of festivities, beans are going on a foraging trip shortly. Time to get the ingredients for the cookies and artisan chocolates we are making as gifts. And we have the last of the Christmas parties this afternoon. It'll be a race to get back in time for PS. But Neko has given her usual daytime permission slip.

Something as simple as baking sure sounds good to me right now. And I have never liked it at all.
Sounds nice and normal there.

Oh my, those poor, poor kittehs that never get fed! :lol: :lol: I'm glad the starving things finally got fed by their bean ;-) If I could, I would love to send you some of my snow :roll: but I don't want your rain. We're actually expecting some freezing rain tonight...after starting today with -33C. Go figure, typical northern AB. Well, I hope you get your (slightly) white Christmas. +8 264 PMPS 307 ohmygod_smile Blech, yuck and ick! I have no idea where that came from. It's been a month and a half since we've seen something like that at preshot. I don't think it was a fur shot - I usually don't miss on that side and I don't smell anything. I guess Neko must have been having a party inside while we were out. :lol: But she's not telling what happened.

Been busy today - operation Christmas chocolates and cookies has begun. Gotta watch Neko - I know from last year that she really likes those toasted hazelnuts.

@Patty - We are so happy Champ is home - I'll make sure to toss out any lilies that someone tries to bring home.

@Rhiannon - :YMHUG: :YMHUG: Sending you the smell of toasting hazelnuts and baking cinnamon stars. There's no place like home.

@Rachel - Hard to tell from their body shapes - but yes, the kitties are often starved. :lol: :lol: It's up to 4C tonight, no hope the snow will still be around at Christmas at our place. :sad:

@Carla - For once Neko didn't listen to you, up she went. :roll:

@Tina - Neko used to go out a lot more, but lately she's become more of an indoor cat. OK by me.

@Amy - Cats think I oughta be reported to the SPCA. :lol: :lol: Fairly successful foraging, even got some hazelnut paste so am going to make some hazelnut ganache chocolates too.

@Liz - Delicate little cats here when it comes to snow. :roll: Neko would love to whack rocks - can she paint Theo's face on them? :lol:
