Yesterday was mostly yellow, for which we are thankful.

For any who didn’t see my report last night, we finally got the test results. She is positive for acro and IAA. Although I have suspected for quite awhile that she was dealing with at least one of these conditions, I can’t say the news went down easily. Due to financial restraints we won’t be able to consider SRT, we can only support insulin treatment, and even that is a strain. Therefore my concerns for her well being are increased. Of course, Weezer is the same today as she was yesterday; still my sweet baby. Last night she slept with us for the first time in quite awhile. I believe she was comforting me, and I did need it.

Thank you so much for all of the support. It gives me comfort and courage to know you are in my corner.

Linda, I missed your condo yesterday. I'm so sorry about the diagnosis but at least you know that there is a reason for Weezer needing more insulin. You are doing an incredible job and you take such good care of Weezer. Big hugs to you and Weezer.

Awwww what sweetheart Weezer is! Comforting her bean when she needed it most. You are doing the best you can for Weezer and if SRT can't be an option than that's OK.

(((Linda))) I'm so sorry, too. I didn't see the ending of your condo and will go back and read. Even though you suspected the news, it's still hard when you finally get the diagnosis. Weezer is a love and you are a great Bean. Hugs to you and scritches to Weezer.

Morning guys

Sorry for the reds this morning. Sorry too for the DX. It is never easy, but I know that you will be able to deal with this, just as you have with the FD. You are doing the best you can, and I truly believe that Weezer knows this. They always do. How nice to read that she spent the night with you, comforting. Hang in there - there is lots of support from the group here, many other beans who are also dealing with acro and IAA. Help is here if you need it.

Oh Linda. So sorry for the diagnosis, but you are right. Weezer is the same kitty regardless of diagnosis. Hugs to you and scritches to Weezer!

Hugs Linda - I have no doubt that you'll continue to do exactly what you're doing and doing well and one of these days, Weezer's gonna say "Hey wait - that's NOT water!". Big loooong hugs 'cos we both need them today.

But I agree with everyone else here .. you are a fantastic bean to weezer .. why do you think she was comforting you last night? Linda I am sorry to hear the dx, but had suspicions of it...
Weezer is still the sweet love she always is, she doesnt know any thing is wrong with her, and she is happy & Loved. Just do the best you can as we all do here--We are here for you every step of the way..

Hugs, Linda. Weezer is a happy kitty and you take great care of her, that is what's important. I hope you guys hit a breakthrough dose soon. Hang in there ;-)
 
(((((LINDA)))))) I'm so sorry to read of Weezer's diagnoses. But, at least you know and knowing is more than half the battle. She sounds like such a sweet kitty and it's great that she's happy and feeling good.
 
Hi again, Linda & Weezer,
The second day after a diagnosis is always hard. You are handling everything so beautifully and Weezer is such a dear kitty to comfort you and let you know she knows that you are there for her.
She's a lucky kitty.

OHMYGOSH have i been calling weezer a him when he's a HER? i am so sorry! in my head she was a he. tell weezer i am very sorry for mentally cross-dressing her. i hope she won't hold it against me! 50 lashes with a wet noodle.

and yes, we're in your corner. snuggling up with you, in fact! it's not really too changed and you will be able to do what's needed.
