Mac had a very active evening cycle and I needed to feed him MC after awhile to keep him up. At AMPS he was the same as +5 last night around 100. I reduced dose and by +1 he was already 70. Fed LC and will test frequently now.

Is Mac's pancreas starting to work more? With dose reduction he is still going low fast in the cycle for the last few days.

I hope so! Based off my limited experience, maybe the depot is playing a role in the lows recently?

The longer amount of time Mac spends in healing greens is a good thing . Larger depots can still influence subsequent cycles for several days. Hoping Mac jumps on his surfboard now.

Yes! He has now come up and we will see how he does the second half of cycle and what his PMPS is to determine what to do tonight.

Given he is not staying up without MC food all day long, I am not giving a shot tonight. Depot or Pancreas healing....time will tell.

Yikes! Mac is sure making a statement today. Even though you just went down to 2.5u from 3u which is more than the usual, I’d still take the reducie with that 38, just to be safe, but I think you already knew I’d say that .

so would the reduction be off of the 2.5? I am not giving a shot tonight but may in the morning unless he is low blue again.

I see he's blue already. Why not a shot tonight? I'd wait and see where he is at +12 before deciding. Skipping would be for you, not for him.
