Hi MJ and butthead,

I can't recall from the posts if you have tried the pill pockets. We use them with 2 pets and they gobble them up (such a godsend). We usually feed right after pill pocket, just to make sure it goes all the way down, and it has been really successful for us.

Meowzi is a master of spit-the-pill-out-where-daddy-can't-find-it-so-he'll-get-in-trouble :mrgreen:

I had to read this site several times before it sank in, but when it did, pilling became so much more pleasant and easier for her and for us.

Here are some tips on pilling from Sasha's condo almost a year ago viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4357&hilit=+sasha
Skip any that suggests cutting or crushing - i don't think your chemo pill can be cut or crushed.

I wonder if you could also chase it with 6oz of tuna juice. Maverick LOVES his tuna juice chasers when he gets his pepcid. I don't know about this medication or things you need to avoid with it.

I liked the part where you sit them down and have a little talk. Wishing you the very best with this pilling every other day MJ. Guess you have to tell Butthead that the pills don't do any good if they are on the floor. :sad:

MJ....love Butthead's picture!! Very cute. Sounds like you've gotten all the advice out there on pilling. I hope you will soon find something that works well for him. I like the idea of just having a talk with him :lol: :lol: Hugs to you all and healing vines for Butthead.

MJ not sure if this will help but to give our Mitzy a pill I have to hold her between my legs grab her mouth and force her to open it pop in the pill and rub her throat for a second while still holding her mouth shut. How come we all have to have one of them pill haters Angels and tons of prayers coming for Butthead. Sending tons and tons of Healing green light.
