Sadly today is her first no green day in over 2 weeks, back on her last day at 5.75u. Today also marks 2 weeks since convenia injection. So I’m fearing we now have this “touch of stomatitis” brewing as a layer of complication with no good solution.
I bought antiseptic wipes to wipe her teeth but that will take some getting used to, and no guarantee they will help. Did it for first time tonite, not very well but at least got some areas wiped.
She had all 0 and 1% food today with just a bit of 2%, so there’s not much room to go even lower carb. She only got a green yesterday b/c of the lantus tail / IAA release in AM cycle, big drop quickly at end of cycle. She was headed that same way today but I intervened to try to flatten it with a tbsp of 1% at +9.5.
I guess we’ll see if things get better but it sure looks like we’re going to have to increase again if we stay on this course.
If Wendy sees this and has guidance on the whole IAA and coupling with the potential stomatitis, I would appreciate it. I’m really scared this combination is a death sentence or at least a really bad nightmare. I can see the red line along upper gumline despite just having dental at end of september. The gum area where teeth were ground down and gingival flap done look fine.
