The vet called and I had mentioned the CBD oil and thought it would be a good idea to try, so I'm going to pick it up today. She also is going to write a prescription for the predisone, if I can find a place that has it in stock.

Adrienne, you want prednisolone, not prednisone. Prednisone is for dogs, prednisolone is for cats.
Which town are you in? I would google <name of town> and vet compounding. For example, I did that for Fort St. John and found this: https://www.fsjpharmacy.com/medication-compounding/ The link says they do veterinary drugs. The chew treats with prednisolone work great here, but they might also do liquid if you think that'll be better for Molly. Most compounding pharmacies welcome phone calls about what they have in stock and can provide. I deal with a place called Northmount Pharmacy. I used to get Neko's flavoured buprenorphine there too. You can try calling and see if they'll ship if you can't get it locally.
