Yesterday
Yet another poor appy day, I think worse than yesterday. She is definitely nauseous, in spite of having Cerenia and Ondansetron on board. I measured Neko's RR (respiratory rate) at 33/36.
For that last while it's been low 20's so I think her heart is working harder. I've sent an email off to cardiology and internal medicine vets, but I think I'm going to suspend fluids for now. Poor appy and lethargy are also sign of heart issues. Of course, it's a long weekend coming up. We'll take any vines you can send our way.
Neko being off is putting me between a rock and a hard place. Friday is Remembrance Day and the last few years I've gone to the island and taken my parents to the service. DM would like to go again, not sure DF can manage the walk. He's one of the last WWII veterans on the island. The last couple of years I've made a wreath to commemorate a great uncle who is the first name on the cenotaph. But I'm not sure I can leave Neko that long cause she probably won't eat enough before we'd go. And it's supposed to rain. Ugh.
Sorry to be a downer. Gray wet November days can do that.
