Nice day yesterday for Mannie, all around. Green cycle for most of the day. He wrapped the the evening cycle with a low blue nadir. Nice job Mannie! cat_pet_icon It was truly nice to see him return to these blue/green cycles. :-D

Hooray! This morning no one, not one of the cats, decided that they needed me up early - perhaps they have adjusted to the time change. Could I be so lucky? YAY! a thousand times over. It has been a normal morning. Mannie was running circles around his bowl, just like he always does. Such excitement over breffis. I did have to remind him though on the auto feeder at +1 - hmmmmmmmmmm. Mannie?: what is up with that? He did spend extra time with me this morning as I got ready - not too sure he approved of the apparel choice - I kept getting these stares with that "are you sure?" look. Napping on the nanners in progress.

Not to sure what time he rolled in after the OTJ party for Trouble. Lots of mutterings in his sleep this morning - something about the roadster and snow banks :roll: , and buffalo herding :-D , and open firepit grills :cool: , and roadster spinouts :shock: , and dancing and singing til dawn :-D :-D . seems that all the kitties had a good time. Apparently they all helped Trouble pack his bags for the falls, with promises that he would return for visits. all in all - it must have been one heckuva party. These mutterings were all with a smile on his face. Good times for all. :-D

ok Mannie: what is up with the auto feeder today? You missed the +1, and now the +2, and your civvie sister ate it. rats! oh well, back to auto feeder training? maybe it was just one of those things today, just to keep your bean on her toes.... :roll:

Hi Michelle: Any hikes today? We have the remnants of snow/icy rain/sleet, but tomorrow is supposed to be in the upper 40s! It will be the last canoe trip of the year, probably.

Michelle, my civvie Tux, just helped himself to Checkers +3 meal. He saw/smelled the chicken crumbles on it, and the little chicken thief just took over, while Checks watched, and mama bean laughed. :lol:

Morning Devon - thanks! It was such a nice day - hoping for a repeat.... maybe tonight.

Ella - last canoe trip? too bad... :sad: but at least you got into November! Any more hikes? The last one was great - have you recovered? No hikes for me today - short of what I can do here at home. The trails here are very short - like 4 miles RT, but they are very nice, with about 500 feet drop, so not too bad. Sometime I will double them up, and go a couple times in one walk. I hope to get over towards the mtns later this week, when we have a sunny day - snow is predicted there this week -we shall see. I don't mind it personally, but the people here do not know how to drive in it - makes getting around a nightmare. :lol: :lol: There are a few lower level mtn hikes nearby so will focus on them for nov. dec and jan. so - still at it, though at a reduced rate.

Hi Barb - yep that happens here too. the other civvie has it figured out - so what to do about that. For months she hasn't been interested... great! now we are in retaining for Mannie, and un-training for the civvie. :roll:

Nice +4 for Mannie, really short bounce and things are looking so good. Mannie is really feeling good in the healing numbers and wants to stay there.

Chef Mannie, last night was spectacular. Chasing down those buffalos, what fun, but boy am I stiff today. I had to run around the house to loosen up. KTS call?

Nice greens yesterday and looks like you're going to see them again today. I'm glad your kitties have adjusted to the time change. My animals still have not. Civie Charlies was screaming at me while I was still in bed and drooler Mandy was up at 5 wondering why I wasn't up. Have a great day, Michelle!

Look at Mannie come down back into blue!!! Nice recovery...and it's not far down to green...YAY...keep on coming down nice and slow.
I'm not sure anyone manages the food curve as well as you do, Michelle...it is a sight to behold!!

Mannie the food was so yummy yesterday...I swear I lost 5 lbs chasing those buffalos and I was still hungry this morning from all those calories I burned! You did a perfect job of cooking the buffalo and the trout!! Thanks for getting the KTS ginned up for soup for Tobey...he no feel good today, my poor baby brother!! Last time the soup made him better so i cross my paws!!

Hey Marjorie - I blush... I am just grateful that I can be home when I need to be and can play with food the way I do. This did not happen when I was working... what a difference it has made. Thanks, and I know I am still learning... always learning...

Hey Ann - I think so too, hope so even more. Last weekend was a little unsettling, bit I'm also wondering how much of that is attributable to the time change thing. We seem to be back to the pattern once that was resolved. I dunno.

Sous Chef TESS !! I know... I was so stiff too. Them buffaloes were hard work, i never ran so much in my life. Hey - nice on the rosemary for the soup - I like that, for lots of reasons. Hey Curry... I KNOW.... I had to go back to school... feeder training. sheessshhhhhh! I can do the feeder just fine - I miss one morning and she sends me to school. cat(2)_steam I just didn't feel like getting out of my nice toasty cozy bed this morning, ya know? it's like 43 outside... it's ok - they give out really good treat at remedial feeder school. :-D ~~ Mannie

Hi Kim - guess I could have phrased that better. Yes - he has a tendency to have a higher number at +9, as compared to his pmps, or say his +6. I just find it odd. He doesn't always do a steady climb from nadir to ps. I sometimes get this "blip" or peak at +9, and he will then drop down at pmps.

Hey Michelle. Being here in the East, I do shots earlier than most. By the time you Westeners post the pmps, I'm done for the night. I need to change my schedule to night owl. :-D

looks to me like the trip to amsterdam resulted in mannie getting more insidious habits than the green dutch contraband... :cool:

Hey Barb! too funny. I'm way ahead of most on the west coast - not too many that have a 4:30 shoot time. I'm done when some are just getting to the good part... :lol: :lol:

Celi - you are too funny. wonder if we will truly ever wonder what went on in amsterdam. Mannie is not talking.... isn't it funny how what we write can be interpreted differently. I read that 3 times and didn't get it. now i do. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mannie! I'll let ya in the back door if you are bringing soup for Emily. My Mom grabbed her today and stuck a big needle in her back, with a hose and a bag on the end of it!!! I'm layin' low in case anyone gets any ideas about me.

Holy Cow, Michelle, who is awake enough at 4:30AM, to play with insulin :!: I'd like to do it an hour earlier in summer and afraid I'd shoot myself at even 6:30. :lol:

i know, i know.... been an early bird for years. it's all my kids fault - all were swimmers, which requires on deck pool calls at 5AM. i Know.... crazy stuff.
