Contractor will be making repairs to my home over the next several weeks. I have to pack up pretty much as if I were moving and put my things in a POD. Hence, I will not be able to get mid-cycle BG's for Fluffy. They're doing a full house rehab. It's overwhelming and a lot of work. Things are going to be hectic till the New Year. I hope to God they're done by then.

Hi Scarlette. Will you still be living at home during this renovation/repair period? Too bad you can't go to stay with your daughter on the farm for a while. I do hope everything will go smoothly and that the work will be done properly. Best Wishes.
 
Also, will your cats be confined to one part of your house where contractor employees will not be allowed to go? I would highly recommend this. They will be less stressed (although sounds and strange voices will still stress them out.) The reason I say this is that you don't want anyone to "accidentally" let one of your cats out of the house and for one of them to be lost. You already lost Fluffy for all of those years and miraculously got him back!

Actually, for 2 weeks they are putting the cats and I in a hotel to do Lead removal/repair work. After that, I can keep them in my bedroom with me as they're not doing in work in that room.. they hid last week as roof was ripped off and replaced, lots of hammering

Good! I'm happy for you being able to get all of this stuff repaired. Just wait until it's over! It will be so much better. What's the lead source? None of you could be around for that -- so I understand the need to be in a hotel. Hang in there.
