Darn dialup, and ringing telephone, so often break my train of thought, it sure can keep my posts short.
But then, that's not always a bad thing. :lol:
I forgot to mention that I started using different meter today. this Relion gives higher numbers than the Presto I've been using. I condidered retesting with the presto this am, and would have been blue :lol: ..but then, there's that consistency thing. :smile:
Now if only I can get my SS done, before my kids phone again, with something dire, like what cute thing the cat or drooler did this morning. :lol:

Barb, nice numbers, he sure didn't tarry in the pinks today! Checkers is really doing great, and so are you! :-D Very nice catch yesterday.

It wouldn't hurt to test with the Presto also to get a comparison so you can feel more confident in the numbers you are seeing...I just wouldn't keep testing all the time with both. I know Kathy/Powder reported that her Relion read high above 200, but I think the numbers were more consistent in the lower ranges? I could be remembering wrong though..don't quote me! :lol: Anyway, if I were switching meters, I would test with both for a short time to get a comparison.

wowwie look at checkers come down! Already to the blues ... I know you want to retest to see green with that other meter, but I think that checkers is going to get down to the greens no matter what meter you use! We use the relion and we really like it .. plus the strips are so much cheaper ...

There is only a 5 to 10 point diffence in the meters. That's basically the same number, just a different color, at times. :smile:
