I'm not liking this steady climb into higher yellow numbers... giving it one more day to see if she starts going down, but either the dose is "going stale" as you said @Wendy&Neko or being less stressed after the move and the settling in period is somehow enhancing her insulin resistance? Her numbers were first shaken loose during our road trip, a super stressful period for her.

Two other things have changed in her routine:
- I started feeding 2 meals out of 4 with raw turkey (very low carb) that she used to eat in Oregon, because she was super picky about canned food. Doing 2 meals of each minimizes the picky monster effect.
- She seemed more uncomfortable in her back/hips, so I started giving her 25mg gabapentin twice a day. I know gaba doesn't normally affect BG, but again, maybe being less stressed because less pain is having an impact?

At Chewie's size of dose, there is something else causing her numbers creep. Once you get the test results, you will know more. In the mean time, I would not wait overly long before increasing. You will start to see glucose toxicity creep in as well. I know I noticed the effects if I went more than six cycles without greens and the numbers going up.

Move stress would not last this long. After all, she is where you are now and it should smell like her home things. I once saw a kitty on at OTJ trial have his numbers go up to reds during a trip - he HATED travel. And down to greens the next day.

The food changes would not have that much of an impact, especially since it's all low carb.

Relieving pain improves numbers, it does not make them worse.

The evidence leads to something else.

THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE - all joking aside, this is stressing me out so much. I spend so much of my awake time worrying about her :(
Wish the vet would call me with those results already!

I will switch her to 8.5 tonight, I don't want her to keep climbing after all the progress we had made.

THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE .
Maybe we need to get Mulder and Scully on the case?

A wise person once told me, don't worry about the size of dose, the important numbers are the BG's.

Vet blood draw was the 31st, a Monday. MSU needs the blood in hand by Tuesday to run the test on Wednesday, which is the day they start the IGF-1 tests. It takes more than a day. If you miss one week, you get the results the following week. Yes, this happened to me. :banghead: The wait is hard.

What the heck, 327 at PMPS?!! :arghh:
Started her on 8.5 units and will call the clinic tomorrow… didn’t call yet because they said they would call when they had the results and that the turnover was a week. I’m so sad and frustrated at having no idea why this is happening.
