After draining the depo a bit and surfing the green last night, we begin today with a 248. Not bad since he hasn't seen green in some time. He is eating well but preferring his kibble over the FF Chicken Feast [about 1/4 can] left over from last night. He ate about 2T Dr. Elsey's salmon/chicken kibble mixed. I added 1/16t psyllium husk powder to the FF but since he hasn't eaten much of the leftovers--maybe half--I don't know how much good it will do. He is having his customary "after dinner drink" of warm water poured into his food bowl but has otherwise not shown the thirst of rising BG.
There were approx. 3 poops over the past 24 to 36 hours but none occurring this morning. He had one overnight pee and a mid-breakfast pee this morning where he was backed up to the entrance of his jumbo sized litter box to the point where the beginning of his stream flowed over the side. Fortunately, his litter box is surrounded by pee pads and I was nearby to catch the stream in my trusty cottage cheese container for ketone testing. No evidence of ketones.
So, onward in this ever-changing FD journey.
