I'm trying to see if I feed a higher carb food if it helps to slow down that fast decline Powder seems to experience. That bounce is so unhealthy. I wouldn't mind if it was the exception rather than the rule. At this rate his pancreas can't possibly heal. Hoping for a good run soon.

I did that couple of times last week Kathy, Checks likes a big drop early on. Much as I hate to give HC, it's the only way to get a slower drop. Good luck with it :smile:

Thanks for dropping by today. I know you hate these big red bounces...they are scary. I hope this clears for Powder soon. I've also been frustrated by the bounces...esp today since I haven't seen Gracie above 400 in ages. I wish I knew the answer to them...I have changed our feeding schedule hoping that would help. I'm like you...I can't think that they
are good other than you know the liver is working. I think you are doing great with him and maybe we can get these
two to quit doing those big bounces. BTW, I have tried to slow Gracie down with HC and it just sends her skyrocketing back up and she still bounces!!! The interesting thing I'm beginning to note is that if I feed her 4% at PS, +1, +2, +3, then her descent is more gradual then if I give her 2%. She ran in lovely healing ranges all day yesterday and only got really low once and I got her right back up...still bounced...can't figure it out!!
