Our roof is being redone and the workers started this morning--poor Esse is terrified so we gave him a bit of gaba with breakfast and let him down into the basement to escape the noise. Unfortunately there's not enough drugs or basement space for all of us so I'll have to make do with noise-blocking headphones.

Hope it's over quickly. Maybe play some music in the basement for him to try to calm him?
I sometimes put on a "soft music for cats" playlist on Spotify for Ivy. She seems to like it so who knows!

Re-roofing is LOUD! Hopefully, they will finish quickly.

By the way, I love your "jump to today" link in your spreadsheet--super helpful, especially this time of year when we're SCROLLING and SCROLLING! I have tried to set up a link in mine, but I can't get it to work . I think it might have something to do with where I'm trying to embed the link and the fact that some of my rows are merged, etc. Also, it probably has something to do with the fact that I'm not an Excel wiz . I figure once we move over to the 2026 spreadsheet, I might try again.

I am definitely also not an Excel wiz, and even less a Google Sheets wiz. If it helps, this is the tutorial I followed. (If anything, this comment will be a reference for me when I have to redo it in 2026, hah!)

Just meant that I know a TINY bit more about Excel because we use it at work. Sheets, not so much. I do a lot of Googling, haha. I look forward to using a date hyperlink on your sheet soon!
