Happy self-care Sunday! Been a minute since we had a green start. He did drop too low last night, hopefully no space expeditions as a result.

I was thinking a lot about our recent OTJ kitties and caregivers, and I think I've self sebatoged a little over the last year, in fear of too low and the stress of walking the green line. Sometimes I think I might over feed a little or shave the dose a wee bit to not worry as much. Gonna try to be mindful and a little more brave.

I can relate as well to the green fear. It worries me all day to leave my baby and I can't get home fast enough!!

Some of those kitties easily fall into the greens with little caregiver effort, and ultimately go into remission, but I know others (like Kat and Trixie) really worked that "line" you mention. Her efforts have sure paid off, though. Good luck as you go forward, Laurie. I'd love to see every single kitty here go into remission.

Awww Petey knows how to Sunday funday right.
I hope one day you'll get where you wanna be with Petey but also don't push yourself. You gotta be comfortable with it and his safety is always a priority.

Oh the coziest kitty! He's beautiful, and he looks so content.

While I'm not in much of a place to be giving advice, I do strongly believe in "every cat is different." I don't think comparisons really help, you know? You're doing your best for your cat according to his and your needs. Which doesn't mean don't try to do things differently, but do it because it seems like the right step, you know?

I also can relate to the green fears. I think I have fed a little more and shaved a wee bit more, too, because of worry.
