Yesterday black to green, lots of green!
Thanks Kim and Mariko for the visits last night!
I would like to say that I have some faulty test strips, but what are the chances that I pull the "broken" ones that read sky high only at AMPS? Hmmm, guess I can't blame it on that after all  Papaya was still surfing green last night at +7 when I went to bed - seemed pretty level and I gave her a snack then, so I'm not sure whether she kept going down to trigger a bounce, whether it was from so much time in green, or whether it was just because she felt like it :?
Papaya wasn't drinking water this morning and cleaned up her food quickly. At about +2 she woke me up by sitting beside me in bed, plucking at the blankets with one claws-extended paw. I knew she had been to the LB at PS when she came out to the kitchen so the only thing she could want was more food. I gave her a small snack and then she was content. It must feel odd to have her BG dropping so quickly. She does it all the time, but I still can't quite believe how fast she comes down from those incredibly high numbers. At least there's lots of blue and green around these days.
The other problem with all these drops is she ends up eating more than she should (not that SHE's complaining!). All those snacks to keep her surfing add up, but I can't cut down the initial portion or the hard drops at the beginning will be even worse. Time to get a kitty treadmill I guess
