Just got home. Ruby's eaten well today. DBF feeds her twice during the day and when I got home her bowl was clean. Her appy has been a little off lately, probably because of her URI, but she seems to be on the mend as I hear less congestion.

What's more, I found two dainty poops in the litterbox today which means either Olive pooped twice or both Olive and Ruby pooped. The coconut might be working well! :cat::cat:

Hope everyone had a good day! :)

What is the Cocotherapy? I see from their website they are the #1 vet-recommended organic coconut oil for pets. I may need to look into this for Bama.
Replying to you on today's condo. It's something recommended on the Raw Feeding for IBD Cats FB group. Lots of kitties in that group suffer from constipation. It's the Hairball Plus formula I am using, and it's small flakes of 100% coconut. That's it. I'm not 100% certain but Ruby has been pooping a lot more and they are much smaller poops than with Lactulose, which should be more comfortable for her to pass.

I find that interesting about the smaller stool size with the new Coco poo thing .
I hope you and Frank had a nice Thanksgiving!

I have not found a gigantic poop in the box for days and the amount of poop has increased. The LB is in the bathroom and I haven't caught Ruby in the act but I can only imagine that it's working. I need to get a poop cam. :cat:

We had a really nice Thanksgiving. It was stressful because I was hosting. Next year we're letting someone else do it! Highly recommend spatchcocking the turkey tho. It was super juicy, even the breast, and the skin crisp!

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, Suzanne. Thanks for checking on us! :bighug:

Did you get the butcher to spatchcock the turkey for you, or did you do it yourself? Did you brine it? Or marinate it?

I got the turkey pre-brined, but we spatchcocked it ourselves. It's easy if you have a) sharp poultry shears (we do not), b) have strong forearms to cut away the backbone of the turkey (DBF), and c) have the patience to cut away the wishbone to flatten the breast. I will admit it was a struggle but the end product made the effort well worth it! All I put on the turkey was olive oil and freshly ground black pepper.

Better late than never. Hi Katherine, happy to hear you had a nice (sorry about the stress part) Thanksgiving. Rob and I love skin so Spatchcock( ING) was perfect for us. Just us two and all that skin. :p By the way a Poop cam might offend one or both of the girls privacy rights.. Just a thought o_O I stopped hosting Thanksgiving officially this year, seems fair at my age. My daughter hosted but I did all the cooking the day before. We don’t do Turkey since our grandkids go to their other grandmas first and are over Turkey by the time we see them. Doing all the cooking, I made a whole brisket and all the rest. Not sure I want to do that anymore either. I was stressed. The day was wonderful.

Ruby’s numbers look nice. I like those low to mid blues, found it relaxing. Didn’t mean to go on, really wanted say say Thanksgiving was more about my gratitude for friends like you. Thank you for caring about us. The difficult things like “where’s Dolly” are becoming more real, trying to invade my heart, things I’m not ready to meet head on yet. Enjoy your Sunday and hope you have a successful Saturday at work. Let me know how the poop cam works or if you get any blow back regarding the girls being watched :p
Take good care. So nice to see Ruby managing her health issues so well. Well, maybe you get some credit for this as well. Big hugs for you four, so happy knowing you are here, certainly not the reasons. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
